If I had to live in any other time period, in the past, I would probably say in Jesus Christ's lifetime. If I could time travel to one other time, the late 1800's would be fun to visit :) I haven't seen the future yet, though, so I don't know.
I don't have a favorite season. I love the smell of spring. I LOVE the rain and storms. I love to play in the rain. I also love the snow. Christmas is my favorite holiday. My favorite foods are chocolate and strawberries. Together or seperate. Especially dark chocolate and fresh home grown strawberries. I don't like sweet candy. I like German food. I love to cook. I also love Italian, Mexican and Chinese. Mushrooms are another favorite food, especially morels.
I love seafood, especially crab, but I don't really like lobster. I don't like freshwater fish.
I like vegetables, including brussel sprouts (in lots of butter)
Corn and home-grown green beans are my favorite.
Sometimes I eat dill pickles and cream cheese...together.
I don't like sweet potatoes or yams. I love pie.
I can drink hot chocolate anytime and I think little debbie cakes make a great breakfast. Dark hot chocolate is amazing. So are truffles.
Fruit does not belong on pizza unless it comes in the form of a tomato.
I love tomatoes.
My favorite colors are red, purple, and yellow.
I love photography, horseback riding, bouldering, and fencing. I like sports. I enjoy going to baseball games.
I also like to read, especially historical fiction. I am currently reading the Zion Series by Thoene and the Book of Mormon in French and German.
I love learning new languages. I have 9 on my list to learn, not inluding English and German.
I like my brown eyes.
I like horses and llamas. I prefer dogs over cats, but am probably more like a cat than a dog.
I love to dance. I especially like ballet and ballroom.
I love music, including hymns. If music is playing and I know the words, I sing, and I sing loud. Sometimes I sing when there isn't music. I'm not very good, though.
I want to visit every state in the US and every continent except antarctica. I want to live, work, or volunteer in Europe, South Africa, China, Russia, Egypt, Jerusalem, and South America. That's probably more than I'll have the chance to do in my lifetime, but that's okay. I can hope.
I want to buy diamonds at Tiffany's in New York...or at least visit Tiffany's in New York.
I want to see a Broadway show in Chicago and New York.
I want to go back to the Redwoods.
I want to work in the Peace Corps.
If I were a character from a comic strip, I would probably be Bucky from Get Fuzzy. Very opinionated and a little manipulative. I like Rob, though. He's a nice guy.
I love playing practical jokes on friends and I like having jokes played on me. I particularly like packing peanuts :)
I'm sneaky. I don't get scared or startled very easily but I'm pretty good at scaring other people.
I sing in the shower.
I hate when people leave the toilet paper roll empty.
I love the beach, east coast and west.
I can eat a lot, and I do.
When I'm really tired, I talk in my sleep. Sometimes I speak German and I've been told I sing. Only once.
I like sleep, but sometimes think it's overrated. I hate being awakened(?) by noise around me when I'm tired, but I like when friends wake me up to play.
I don't like going to the bathroom. It takes too much time.
I love surprises...as long as they're good surprises.
Good chocolate, European chocolate, is good for you, and nobody can tell me any different.
I listen to classical music or 80's when I clean. I love music. Just about anything and everything. jazz, classical, 50's, 60's, 80's, musicals, rock, R&B, pop, country, Frank Sinatra, the Temptations, The Supremes, ABBA, Louis Armstrong, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, REO Speedwagon...the list goes on...our apartment CD is pretty much amazing.

If you're talking about the North and South author, it's actually Elizabeth Gaskell. But you could be talking about someone completely different. Just thought those looking for the joy of North and South should know. And it is joy.
Ya know, I did actually know that. In fact, I had the book...amazing book (imagine a sigh there)that makes me happy :) I'm just, well...I don't really know...distracted?? Anyway, thanks. I probably wouldn't have noticed it.
