Stamp Machines
So I tear my apartment apart looking for stamps today to mail an insurance claim that I don't think I should have to mail in the first place. After coming up empty-handed, I remember that I'm not going crazy and that I know I have stamps somewhere. In a last ditch effort to find a stamp and try to save money (why buy stamps when I know that I have some already?) I look in a box that has a bunch of junk that I cleared out of my desk when I moved. Whoo hoo, a stamp! A 22 cent stamp :( Honestly, I didn't even know those existed anymore. I do not want to look for stamps anymore. I've already wasted 10 minutes. (Okay, so I'm not a patient person) I pack up and head to the Wilk. I'll buy some before work. So, I go for the smallest amount of stamps I can. You can't just buy one, apparently. I decide to buy a book of ten stamps, and for just a few extra cents, support Breast Cancer Research. A good cause, in my opinion. I put my 20 dollar bill in the machine. It was sad. I've been hanging on to that bill for a while. I push the necessary buttons and my stamps drop out...at the same time that $15.50 in CHANGE falls into the change return!! What exactly am I to do with 15 dollars in change??
